Whoop whoop. A great big rubber stamp!

As of today, I'm officially an accredited training centre and provider for Open Awards. This means that I can now offer nationally accredited courses and qualifications through Open Awards (which is an awarding body through the  Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF).

I know it all sounds like gobbledygook, but for a small training provider like me, this is a quite a big deal. Here's why.

It means:

  • I've been checked out to within an inch of my life. My course material has been assessed. My quality processes have been gone through with a fine tooth comb and I have been proven to be an all round good egg.
  • I can run accredited courses in marketing, sales, social media, creative writing, copywriting and preparation for life and work. Learners accumulate units which they can put towards a range of nationally recognised qualifications.
  • Hopefully it separates me from the pack. Even if people don't opt for the accredited options, they can still attend my other courses knowing that my teaching, materials and content is of a high standard and that I'm vetted and assessed every year.

So there it is. That's my news. So go forth and spread the good word.
